| my dad has been trying to buy a new tv for three years now, and he waites until cirtuit city was going out of business, then he bough one. So were all covered. Hehe Thats aweful that you did all that work for nothing. Yikes!! You almost pulled a Tom and Jerry there with your latter. How far away from the ground is your roof?? Sometimes life throws you under the bus. You gotta hold on for dear life. Don't waste one single day. ============================================================================================== I wonder how I find myself with the greatest boy ever! <3 He loves me in spite of my issues. | |

| You're awful brave there, Savannah . I'm sure you were doing some praying that the ladder stayed put. It would have to have a ground level roof to do what you did, lol. Spring is finally here, the lovely pink blooms on the "spray" tree outside my window are gone leaving a beautiful willow.

- :shy: It isn't quite as bad as it sounds - it's only the first story roof. My younger brother asked me to promise not to go on the second story roof.....He was a little distressed about the idea of me being up there, and he so rarely gets upset about anything, I promised him that I wouldn't. He said that he'd come over and climb up there himself and hook the antennae up for me instead.....But I don't like the idea of him being up there.
Last November, my daycare mom's mother actually went out on her roof to hang Christmas lights, with no one at home, and fell two stories. She is VERY lucky that she didn't break her neck! She broke everything else!! She had to have metal rods put in her back and everything. Her hubby had just gotten up North with some buddies to go hunting, and got the call that his wife had fallen off the roof! Can you imagine?! He said later he was too worried to be upset with her....ahem, THAT was for later. She's doing fine now...I just saw her about a month ago and she's almost back to normal. OH, and they live in the country, off a main road where the house is set quite a ways back....she laid there for quite some time before anyone even noticed her. I know your 'escapade' wasn't nearly as serious or dangerous Savannah, it just made me think of it. Hope you get your TV woes figured out soon! “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

| You should be able to pick up digital with a regular antenna. We didn't have cable in Ohio, and when we got an HD TV we got all the digital channels just fine using the same antenna. | |
