INTERNET SPEED (Comcast vs. ATT)

Okay, so I ordered ATT Elite internet and my service is to go up tonight... BUT... in doing a little more research, I see a lot of people say that Comcast is way faster. I can honestly say that I've been happy w/ comcast speed I've had... but was making the switch to save money... but will I be disappointed?

What do you guys say? Stay with Comcast? Or make the switch tonight to AT&T?

OR do you guys know of another good service?

We have Charter. As far as I know my husband is happy with it.

I have dial-up and I haven't been very pleased with the speed. ;)

I used to have dial-up. . . I would literally cross-stitch while I waited for pages to load. When we first changed over to broadband, I clicked on the link to go to a news site, picked up my cross-stitching to do a few stitches while I waited....and before I could even pick up my work, it was loaded.
