What is the speed limit in your state for Interstates and Highways? In IL...The maximum speed limit is 65 miles per hour on rural interstates, 55 miles per hour on interstate highways near or in major cities and on other highways, and 30 miles per hour in an urban area unless some other speed restriction is established.

65 on the interstate (60 for rigs, which is really a dumb law), 55 on state roads.

Ours range from 55-75. We have a spot on Highway 71 that had to be slowed down to 45 for about 2 miles because of people trying to race across the road while racing traffic was coming at you. People ignore the 45 mph and for a while, the police were right on top of them, but for some reason, they have backed off. I guess another death will get them back out there and perhaps get the traffic slowed down.

In Canada our highways speed limit is between 100-120 km/h which works out to 62-74 miles/h.

The highest I have seen is 70. The lowest is 55.

Mine is the same as Susie's.

In Alabama the interstate speed is seventy.

I think in Montana it's 'whatever is safe for conditions'. I'm not certain if it's still like that though, but it used to be.

65 on the highway, 25 to 45 in the city depending on the type of road.

uhm. I'm not glad too say this but the highest I've seen is just unlimited... And honestly if you don't drive with 65 mph at least on the motorway, they'll just hit you sionce nobody expects you going so slow...
In town it's 50 Km/h but I can't change this into mph, sorry

Yeah That how it is in my Area but afterall we both live in Canada :woohooo:
