Prayers for Rhonda's Dad

Hello everyone,

Rhonda mentioned to me that her father was in the hospital with chest pains. Please keep him in your prayers...

Wow, will do. I believe he is in his late 70's. Good part she is only an hour from him now.

We'll be praying.

Rhonda's dad will be in my prayers.

I'll definitely be praying too.

He is in my prayers too. Hope Rhonda could keep us updated about her dad.

"Dad is fine...released yesterday after good test results.. will have a follow up appt with his regular doctor in a week just to keep things in check."

Yay, Rhonda's dad!

Thank you everyone for your prayers......I was at the hospital yesterday with my dad while he waited for his results......It was a long wait for the results to get to us from the doctor, but he got a clean bill of health and we were both able to take a deep breath and smile! My dad will be 81 this August and a few years back, he had heart problems and had a stint put in, so when his heart "talks" to him, he listens.......

Thank you all again for your prayers and thank you Carol for keeping everyone updated through our texting and this forum!

Great news, Rhonda and Carol! I'm relieved your dad is O.K, Rhonda! When parents becomes elderly, we begins to worry. Happily, your papa's health is fine.

In the meantime......I found out my former father-in-law had to have his big toe amputated because of stubbing it......and since he is diabetic, the toe had to be removed. They didn't get all the infection, so this past week, half his foot was removed. Please pray for him that they got it all and no more of the foot has to be removed. I have always heard the expression, "Give diabetes an inch, and it'll take a foot!" so please pray it doesn't come to that.....

I'll pray for him , Rhonda...Yes. Diabetes is this awful way. A great-great granny of mine must have her whole leg removed by it.

Rose and Laura where both diabetics as old ladies. Happily they didn't suffer any of these troubles, but they can be pretty common.

That is so awful. My FIL has diabetes too, and let me tell you, his feet scare me. The day they arrived in NC his feet were so swollen his toes looked like sausages.

I'll pray for him, Rhonda. My friend's dad had the same operation and is doing well now.

Oh, I am so sorry to hear about your father in law! That is really scare....I will pray they don't have to take any more.
