| Well, I'm attempting to read Jane Austen's "Sense and Sensibility". I figured I'd start with that one since it's her first. I adore the movie, and Pride and Prejudice too (especially the PBS miniseries), but have yet to read them. It's not easy, getting into the groove of reading the Old English. It's a totally different 'feel'. “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

- Currently, I'm reading Nicholas Sparks' "The Last Song". I want to try to get it finished before the movie comes out later this month - I'm a big Nicholas Sparks fan and I'm only about a fourth of the way through the book so far, but so far so good. Has anyone else read it?
I haven't but that will be my next book. Currently I am reading "Forever Liesel" I'm a big Sound of Music fan and Liesel was one of my favorite characters. I am really enjoying this book and getting all the inside scoop behind the scenes. I've only read 3 chapters but I'm really enjoying it!

| I'm currently reading Melissa Gilbert's book. It's taken me quite a while... I didn't go through it as fast as I did ready "Forever Liesel". I guess I was wanting more behind the scenes and experiences on the actors of Little House because the title says a PRAIRIE tale... some of the stuff she wrote, I didn't really need to know lol | |

| I just finished a book called After Ever After by Jordan Sonnenblick. I got it at the library yesterday and when I sat down to start it, I liked it so much that I just kept reading until I finished it! It was about two eighth grade boys who are best friends, who are both cancer survivors. There is a lot going on in the boys' lives, and there is a sad ending, but I actually found it to be a really good book. | |

| Well, I am still giving MacKinley Kantor's Andersonville a try. I haven't gotten far into it. I haven't cared for it all that much right now, but sometimes it takes me awhile to get interested in a book. I am just hoping it picks up when they finally talk about the Civil War prison. If they don't, it will just be a wonder to me how it ever won the Pulitzer Prize! I have been trying to finish it since March and I am still in the beginning of it!
I also just started Me and Bobby D: A Memoir by Steve Karmen. It is based on this man's life and his friendship with Bobby Darin. So far it is pretty good. Who's going to do the cooking?!?!

| I am still stuck on Andersonville and a collection of Louisa May Alcott stories in a book called A Whisper in the Dark (name based on a story in there). I did just finish Rob Lowe's autobiography, though. Who's going to do the cooking?!?! | |
