What Book Are you Reading now?

Weekends With Daisy, by Sharron Kahn Luttrell. The book just came out recently, but my uncle works for the service dog organization that is talked about in the book, so we knew about it before it was released. So far it's a good book. If you're a fan of dog books, or any animal books, I recommend it!

Just finished A Christmas Carol 2: The Return of Scrooge. I'm going to read 16 Lighthouse Road, the first Cedar Cove book and Michael Landon Jr.'s Traces of Mercy next.

Missing. Shelly Shepard gray. She is a good amish writer.

I've never even heard of this.  What was it like?  Is it really a continuation of "A Christmas Carol"?

I've been stuck on The Iowa Baseball Confederacy for awhile now.  It is a good book.  So that isn't the reason that I haven't finished it.  It is more the fact that I have been checking a lot of other books out from the library and reading them instead.  I've also recently begun reading Jane Eyre (again!).  I never tire of that book!

I'm taking a Shakespeare course for school. Right now I'm reading A Midsummer Night's Dream. It's the seventh Shakespeare play I've read, and the first that isn't a tragedy, so I'm enjoying it just because of that!

God Rest Ye Merry Soldiers
It is has some true stories about soldiers in the Civil War during Christmastime.

Five Days In November by Clint Hill. Mr. Hill, was part of President Kennedy's secret service detail, assigned to Jackie Kennedy. It's a book about President Kennedy's last 5 days.

Both are considered classics and both made me feel like I wanted to cry, pull my hair out and beat my head against the wall because I was SO BORED.


Anyway, I'm now reading A Blue and Gray Christmas and am currently re-reading Jane Eyre (in my opinion, quite simply the greatest novel ever!!).

Wow! I guess we all read boring books. Yes! I had to read a boring book in grade 12......Hated it.

Lilly of the fields. Or maybe A book about a bunch of kids that get stuck on a island .

Margot by Jillian Cantor. It is a fiction book about Margot Frank, Anne Frank's sister, and is about what Margot's life might have been like if she had escaped during World War 2, and had not died in a camp. It is a realistic book, and at times sad, but it is still a great read and I've already read more than half of the book in just a few days.

I just finished reading The Perks of Being A Wallflower. It was the best book I've read in a while.    couldn't put it down.

I saw an interview or two with Hill not that long ago. My dad was a marine in the White House when Kennedy was in office. He said she was beautiful.

I'm reading Pioneer Girl by Bich Minh Nguyen. That's the book about the Vietnamese girl that has a tie in to Laura and Rose.

reading The Hunger Games again. I've read it a few different times now since I first picked it up two years ago.

Atlantis in Wisconsin. Not as interesting as I thought it would be. I've heard the theories before, which is why I decided to read it. I mean, there are some interesting points in it. The author just doesn't make them very interesting.
