| I just ordered a copy of The Fault in Our Stars.
I've tried reading it before but couldn't get into it that time, but I've heard so many good things about it so I decided it's worth another try. I checked three different libraries near me and at all three the book had multiple reserves so I decided to just order a copy since I don't want to wait to read it. Should be coming today or tomorrow.

| I've just started reading Paper Towns by John Green, the same author who wrote The Fault In Our Stars. I loved The Fault In Our Stars, one of the best books I've ever read. Paper Towns is a bit strange so far and I didn't like the beginning, but I'm hoping it gets better as I get farther into it. | |

| I recently finished 'Shine' by Lauren Myracle. I've read several books by this author but Shine is probably my favorite out of them all. I don't normally like books that have the type of plot that this one did, but I really enjoyed this book. I didn't want to put it down. | |

| I've read several very good books lately.
1. Winger by Andrew Smith 2. Wonder by RJ Palacio 3. The Meaning of Matthew by Judy Shepard
Some of them, I checked out from the library, and when I finished them I liked them so much I wound up buying my own copies. I have so many books but I love reading so I just keep getting more.

| I've decided to give the Game of Thrones series a try. Yeah.....
I have a feeling (I have only read the prologue of the first book and slightly begun the first chapter) that this is going to be something that I would prefer watching rather than reading (I have never seen the TV show, though).
I am also halfway through a book called A Jane Austen Education by William Deresiewicz. It is so-so. I only paid $1 for it from the Dollar Store. So, I don't feel too bad about not liking it better. I kind of do want to finish it, though. Who's going to do the cooking?!?!

| Right now I am reading "The Five Stages of Andrew Brawley" by Shaun David Hutchinson. The plot of the story is a bit of a mystery and I'm not that far into it yet but so far it is interesting.
In the past couple of months some of the other books I've read are:
1. The Nine Lives of Christmas by Sheila Roberts 2. Schizo by Nic Sheff 3. Target by Kathleen Jeffrie Johnson 4. Hate List by Jennifer Brown 5. Break by Hannah Moskowitz
My favorite out of those 5 books was probably Schizo. It dealt with some heavier topics than I usually read about, but they were handled well and the book was well written. I started reading it early one morning on a snow day and had it finished before lunchtime, I just couldn't put it down.
The list of books I want to read is long and more books are being added to it all the time.

| Currently I am reading a book called Love, Lucy by April Linder. It is not related to the story of Lucille Ball (which I first thought when I first saw the title) but instead it is about a teenage girl who travels to Italy the summer before she goes to college. It is a good book so far, but I know there are a couple of big events coming up soon in the story, so I hope I still like the book after I read those parts! | |
