What Book Are you Reading now?

Just started On Top of Concord Hill today.

Finally finshed reading the LHOTP Books.

Reading When calls the heart.

I am part way through "Little Town at the Crossroads."

Did you read all of the extra little house years too?

I didn't know they had other ones

I mean like the Caroline years, and the Rose years, etc.

Nope never read them.

Oh, you've got to read them, they are great!

I am half way through the Caroline years and love it.

Here is my current collection (I just got them all in the last month or two.)

That is cool. Maybe if i find them i'll give them a try.

Some of them cost a bit more (they are out of print), but quite a few of them are a decent price on amazon. For example, here is the first one in the Martha series on amazon.ca

Just make sure you don't get any of the ones from 2007 that are abridged.

Oh my gosh. Wow! some are pricey. that is a few dollars more then the Annie paper backs. Seeing im in Canada books seem to be a few dollars more then the states. I see a lot of the LHOTP series at second hand stores. But don't think i seen many of the others.

There are some that cost too much and I haven't gotten yet.... the last one in the Caroline years is going for US $62ish and up!

I haven't read any of the LH books except, perhaps, one or two when I was a child.

Oh wow. I can understand that.  I thought the LHOTP  Where okay. I wish i would have read them when i was a child. Think i would have enjoyed them more. It was really neat to read about how life was back in them days. It sure must of been hard during the cold winter times. I don't think i would have been able to handle it. I go nuts. lol  Life sure was harder back then. We sure have it pretty easy now. I did come to notice how the books were so different from the TV show. Laura didn't want to be a teacher. But in the show she did. I can understand why they couldn't copy the show word from word from the books.

Right now I am reading Go Set a Watchman, the sequel to To Kill a Mockingbird.

I just started A Little House of Their Own today... I got it from the library. Still trying to find a copy for my collection that doesn't cost $75+!

That is awesome. I would feel a little Embarrassed borrowing a LHOTP book from the library. Unless i use the self check out. Free is good. I thought i saw a little house book the other day at the second hand store. but it was another series.

Nothing to be embarrassed about borrowing a LHOTP book from the library... it's a great series for all ages!

I just started Little House in the Big Woods last night.... I love Laura's writing style!

I know just sometimes people give you strange looks.

I am now reading Little House on the Prairie! I just finished chapter 2 and the LH Pilot movie has a lot of similarities with that chapter.

I read that book Little House on the Prairie!

Wish i had the set in nice hard covers.
