Melissa Gilbert on "The Talk"

I was thinking this would already be on the board somewhere, but I can't find anything. Melissa was on The Talk last week with her sister Sara! I only caught the very end of it. Here's the interview:

Trying not to sound too critical here, but is MG just trying too hard to turn up the heat these days? When she leaned over you could see almost all of China because her shirt was so low.

Well, I'm not going to try to quote Alison Arngram,but she said I think in her book or some interview that Melissa seems to almost dress down more.....I think her words were "she's almost trailor."

Melissa is proud of her body to put it nicely, and she shows it off. I do wish she were still a bit more modest. Still as always whatever she acts in I will watch. She does have talent and she brings wonder to any part she plays.

Sara did have a look as if she wished Melissa would not talk about her.

I've always loved Melissa with longer hair, but her shorter hair is very pretty on her.

I loved her long hair too, but this particular short style is awesome on her, I think. Makes me want to go out and get mine cut!

I must said I share your opinion...I don't think she must act as Laura Ingalls...I know she isn't. But, yes, she could be a little, little bit more modest.

I've never seen Melissa with short hair. It really looks good on her.

Yes, Melissa is one that can do short or long well. I personally like the long on her best. She is only 5'3 I think, so longer hair makes her seem taller sort of. The thing is when you've had long hair most of your life, it sort of makes who you feel you are....so my guess is she did this because of the back surgery she had to have. I think she will let it grow back out at some point.

I got 6 inches cut off of mine back in July....and I'm now letting it grow. It's just not me with short hair, besides I HATE going to get my hair cut as often as you have to with shorter hair. HA!

The short hairstyle is actually kind of pretty on her, but I prefer it longer. Like Gin, I suspect her back surgery was the reason behind the haircut. Personally, I hope she lets it grow out again. Her stunning auburn hair is one of her trademarks.
