Those are wonderful pictures! And a beautiful video. What was that wooden walkway on? (About midway through the video.) It looked like it was along the edge of a huge rock formation/wall. It looked so cool! And is your sister Ruth taller than your Mom now, or was that just the angle of the photo? (My brothers and I all grew to be taller than my Mom by the time we were each around 13 or so.)
Glad you liked it! Yep Ruth is taller than mum, and that walkway is part of the Dove Lake Circuit walk near Cradle Mountain.

Thank heavens for digital cameras. Back in the day, if someone went on a vacation, they'd take a few 36-exposure rolls of film to last the whole trip.

Great ship! And I love your pics, Alex, just keep posting them. Digital cameras are a vice! I've also took more than 200 pics of my mountain holidays! I just realized it when I went to a photo parlor to have them in paper...

Wow, Alex!!! I just saw this thread for the first time. Absolutely amazing photos and videos. I want to visit your beautiful country and Tasmania more than ever now!
(I'm glad you got a video of the devils, they are so cute! A little too quiet, though )
I hope you will post many more photos and videos!
Spring is finally here, the lovely pink blooms on the "spray" tree outside my window are gone leaving a beautiful willow.
