Okay, I know everyone was wanting to know how my dentist trip went, then it got cancelled, re-scheduled, then I got the flu-----but I finally went! .....it was---rough. Bless the dentist's heart. He is such a sweet man but I tell you, I could never seem to get numb! I total had 14 shots and still wasn't numb completely....but I got thru it all. Haha! So, besides looking like a chipmunk and being sore from all the shots for a few days, I am okie dokie!

Why not just skip the shots like I do...Saves the aftereffects.

Wow, that's a lot of shots. Maybe the novocaine was losing its effectiveness. I've had that happen before. I hope the dentist tried another batch.

What a relief to have it done and over with I bet. I'm glad it all went okay.

I'd rather have aftershocks than the pain I was experiancing when I didn't have enough. THy say being nervous decreases the effect of it, and I was pretty nervous so that is probably what did it.

Ouch, that's a lot of shots! Glad it's over for you, Julia, and hope you're feeling better soon!
