PostSubject: Prayer and a question   Prayer and a question EmptyFri Jun 03, 2011 12:47 pm

Well, for the past two to two and a half weeks I haven't felt my usual self.
I feel very weak, tired all the time, I have headaches often and feel sickly. I know I am probably not eating enough but when I do eat I feel hungry an hour later or so. I've lost 3 pounds in two days. If I end up losing 6 more that will make 20 pounds I've lost. Mom says I am too skinny now but I am seriously not trying to starve myself. My ribs are kinda showing too.
But last night I came close to fainting again and this time no one was taking my blood pressure. lol
When I do eat I get full after litereally---no joke, two bites!
Could I be growing and I just can't keep up with myself when it comes to eating? lol

Anyhow, just please pray I feel better. grinsmiley
Thank you all.
This is also why I haven't been on the forum as much.

It could all be a part of you growing up. I hope that is all. See when I was a teenager I started gaining weight. Some people go through a huge growth spurt. It's different for everyone. Just pray to God and he will help ya. Smiley Hug

Don't be so worried about yourself. When you are growing up to an adul, those changes could be normal. I think that nowadays we have too much acces to medical info and we always believes we are sick. Try not not become an hypochondriac! I knew lots of girls of your age (I'm a French teacher in my home) and ALL of them are worried about their health. All of them believes they are sick!

The fact that you feel full after only two bites is normal after anorexia. My cousin experienced the same than you, but she had no more troubles in six months after she ceased to have troubles with her meals.

I'll be praying for you. Be strong and happy. Takes the life as it comes and don't worry about how thin or fat you looks. Just be yourself. Sometimes, it's hard, I know. But yu MUST try.

Thanks everyone! :) I feel a lot better now. I still get the "full real fast" feeling and the fainting feeling, but other than that I am okay. I have lost so much weight though (without trying this time) that my RIBS are showing...:-O I'm wondering if my metabolism has shot up super high and I am not used to that. LOL! :D

The only advice I can give is to share what's going on with your physician. That would be the best person to tell you what may be going on. My guess is that the faint feeling could be a blood-sugar issue related to not eating enough (even though you do feel full after eating a small amount). But, that is just a guess.

I know some people do better eating several small meals a day, rather than 3 bigger meals. Maybe that would work better for you?

I think eating smaller meals is the best for me. I am really trying to get back on track..
