Camping!

I'll be heading out this week to go camping with the family. Just staying down here and saving some gas----found a great campground that has an 'up north' feel.

Thank you everyone! Wow, after the crazy heat, it really does feel good to be home. But we managed to have some fun despite the bad weather. Rob, Lisa, or Pam, have any of you ever been to Waterloo, between Jackson & Chelsea? I guess it's the largest state park land in the lower peninsula, spread over 20,000 acres and four different parks. The one we chose is very pretty. Just curious have any of you have heard of it or been there?

Thanks Rob! Yep, it's nice....pretty far in the boonies, (which I'm not used to), and no cell phone service, but still nice! Feels good to be home in civilization though.

Well, with the past two weeks that I have had, I missed this completely...glad you had a great time and welcome home...

Well, Amy.....Yes, we missed you. Rob was caught telling Jacob a dirty joke. (The one about skunks and glue.) and then Rhonda and Larry egged all the dugouts on the prairie. That made Fife REAL mad so he sent out a posse looking for them. THAT sure stirred up alot of dust!!
Teresa was minding her own business making a four leaf clover chain, when Carol put a frog on her head. For that, Fife put Carol in the lockup for one night . I decided we all needed to have a barn dance so we could all calm down and remember why we are here.
Julia, Alex and the rest of the prairie town danced the night away. When we all sat down in the quiet of the night looking up at the stars that were left, someone asked where Fife was. I only smiled.....because over the swell of toads and crickets no one could hear Fife struggling, gagged and tied to an old stump in a field out back.
Glad you are back Amy, that is all you missed. Next time I could use a little help holding Fife down.

Did you go camping, Gin? I like camping too...but when weather is not so good...Hmmmm...In that case I'm not enthousiastic to go camping No, I'm kidding. I went camping some three or four times in my life and I liked it, even if we had had some days of rain and we used to quarrel inside the tent.

Oh the agony!! Do you have much of an internal memory in the camera? Mine is pretty small. The one camera can hold about 20 pictures, but my "purse camera" only holds about 8.

Sorry Savannah....I forgot to mention you were the one that found Fife and offered him lemonade. Nellie happened along early next morning and he promised her shooting lessons so SHE untied him. He's loose again...beware!

Ah, it's okay - my back wouldn't have been up to a barn dance this weekend anyway.
