Prayers for Dylan

I'll be praying for them two, Gin...Car accidents are not easy for those who suffers them, because they remember the whole fact for some time.

But don't worry! Things will be O.K if we pray.

How scary! I will be praying.

Car accidents are always hard to hear about, but especially when it comes to young teens. I'm glad it wasn't too terribly serious; I can imagine how scared the family was!! Hope all goes well with Dylan's surgery.

I'll be praying for Dylan and his girlfriend, and the family.

Praying for Dylan and his gf....and especially for Raela.....I know how upset she will be with this interrupting her routine......

Dylan had to wait til 3pm yesterday for surgery. He was one doped up guy! His Mom and Dad were right with him tho. Surgery went well, but it was a jagged break so it will hurt for awhile. His g/friend Emily, has 18 different breaks and she is Arkansas Childrens getting great treatment. Surgery will follow for awhile for her.
Raela has done well trying to understand why she can't see Dylan. It has helped that she has been to the hospital for different things herself. She wanted to pick up some bandaids for Dylan at Walmart so my uncle let her pick out some Barney ones for him.
Continue to pray for healing for these two and the family has asked that we pray especally for them NOT to get staph while in the hospital. That seems to be a problem so much now with so many people. Thanks guys...I will update as I hear.

Thanks for the update Gin. I'm glad the surgery went well (except for the extra pain he'll be in. ).

My prayers continue, Gin. What a tough break for these kids. I hope they heal well.

Here is Dylan heading into surgery. As of yesterday he is home at his Nana's(my aunt JoAnn) house to continue healing. Please keep he and his g/friend Emily in prayer. She is still in Arkansas Childrens . So far I think she has had two surgeries and they are waiting for swelling to go down to do more. She has a long road ahead.
Also, please keep my Aunt and Uncle in prayer. They have a loaded plate all of the time. Raela is a huge part of that, but the kids dad Sean is biplor and is trying to get meds regulated. That is why they live there with them. JoAnn is one of the most faithful people I know. She is the type that if she only had peas on her plate she would count them and be thankful for each one. They are in their late 60's and raising grandkids is not an easy job. They most of all need our prayers. Thanks!

Gin, I just don't know how your aunt and uncle do it. And now this. They certainly do have a full load. I will be praying for everyone---I'm sure it's times like these you wish you lived closer.

They are certainly amazing people. Prayers continue. Hopefully the road ends up being easier than it looks right now.

I Will be praying for all them, Gin. It's true, "When it rains, it pours" but your family is really courageous and they deserves to have happyness for how grateful they are to life.

Thank you all. Its people like my Aunt and Uncle that teach us how to endure so much. I am so thankful for them. And yes, many times over I have wished I could be closer. I would love to go take Raela on for a couple of hours just to give JoAnn a break. She decribes Raela as an octopus....hands everywhere! I agree!

I belive that is Dylan's brother in the background. Colin is 12, this really shook him up as well. Its been certainly a reality check for all those young involved.

HEY all! Dylan has been having some unexpected pain in his leg that was broken. The Doctor wants to remove the rod that he put in and try to put something else there. Its making Dylan limp and effecting his hip somehow. I'll let you know about surgery dates, but please pray this one takes care of things. He is 17 now and I'm sure isn't finished growing so they have to think about that as well.

Thanks Alice. I really don't know how the girlfriend is doing, she and Dylan broke up sometime ago. BUT, I do remember she was going to have a long road to recovery so, Yes, please keep her in prayer.

Just talked to my Aunt JoAnn. She said Dylan's surgery is Monday July 16th, 11 a.m. CT. The rod will be taken out, because its placement is cutting off blood flow to the hip bone. When that happens the bone deteriorates. If the rod were kept in he could need hip replacement in 10 yrs. With the rod out and bloodflow good he shouldn't be in pain.
He is such a hard worker, and was hoping he could be back at his resturant job in a week...we shall see. He works part time while in school too.

Hopefully he will mend sooner now that they are taking care of the problem with the blood flow.

Since he is already a hard worker, I know he will work extra hard if he has physical therapy.

I will pray for Dylan . Hope his surgery would be O.K...and even if we don't exactly know how his girlfriend is doing, I'll pray for her too. I just hate when people suffers.
