| Thank you so much for the prayers, everyone, and Rhonda, thank you for thinking of me yesterday. I appreciate all of you so much. Still a little sad, but I did find some peace in knowing that my grandma is finally at peace. She suffered from Alzheimer's for about 5 years and lost her husband about 25 years ago and I know how much she missed him. They're finally together now and I know she's happy - or as my dad put it, free. It's a little hard dealing with him in his condition right now too - I know it's not something he can help, but I'm angry at him for not seeming to help himself, especially now. I told him he has to try, for my mother's sake. She's been taking care of him throughout his depression, now he has to be there for her. Any prayers for this I would also be very grateful for. And again, thank you so much. "It is still best to be honest and truthful; to make the most of what we have; to be happy with simple pleasures and to be cheerful and have courage when things go wrong." | |

| I'll definitely bring this up in prayer Christina. Your dad might be overwhelmed with his depression and unable to help your mother as much as he would like, but hopefully through our prayers he and your mother will feel better soon.

| I can't believe it's been over a month already - how time flies! So many blessings have been happening since she passed away and I know she's been a part of them. I've been talking with cousins that I hadn't spoke to in years, but we met up again at the funeral and exchanged email addresses. Also, my mom is speaking to her sister again that she hasn't spoken to in over 15 years. They'd had a falling out and although my aunt wasn't at my grandma's funeral, they finally spoke afterward and are even planning to get together soon. I honestly never would've thought I'd see this in a million years; that's how I know my grandma is a part of it. She would be so happy seeing everyone together.
My mom is doing better - she's a fighter, just like my grandma and I feel like they've passed that onto me and I feel very blessed. No change in my dad; he's not the dad I knew growing up, but he is seeing a different doctor now and I am hoping it will do some good.
This is kind of a strange side note, but in the years, going to viewings I never really saw the "point" - I thought it was just prolonging the ordeal and making it more painful for loved ones. But at the very end of my grandma's viewing, I was able to sit for a few minutes and "talk" to her, and I found it comforting.
"It is still best to be honest and truthful; to make the most of what we have; to be happy with simple pleasures and to be cheerful and have courage when things go wrong." | |

| Christina, that's so wonderful. You Grandma must have one of the biggest smiles in heaven right now, seeing your Mom and Aunt mending their relationship! I truly believe that our loved ones who've gone on to heaven can see and hear us - and I think your Grandma heard every word that you said to her. Good for your Dad for seeking a new doctor's viewpoint. Maybe he/she will have an idea or two that will be able to help your Dad! | |

| Christina, that is so nice that you found comfort in "talking" to your grandma during her viewing. I'm glad that your mom and aunt are working things out. 15 years is a long time to go without speaking to one another. Your dad will continue to be in my prayers, Christina. Keep us updated on how he is doing. | |
