I'm glad I didn't see those until this morning, Carol, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to sleep.

Thank you - that might help to eradicate the shocking images from the previous video you posted. But I have to agree with Vanesa . . . I'm not so sure that the dog is laughing.

Is it terrifying to be in an earth quake every time there is one? Or are there sometimes small ones in California? Just curious because I would like to move out there someday but I am scared.

It's strange I live in Pennsylvania and did not feel a thing. Maybe it was because I was outside walking?
Same here Becky - I didn't notice anything, but I heard someone talking to a co-worker about it, then my friend who works in a different town texted me asking if I felt the earthquake. I was surprised because I didn't notice anything, but people who worked on the other side of my building did. Scary stuff!

Becky, California has had SO many earthquakes, it is almost second nature to them, so they have learned to build their homes, schools, hospitals and other buildings on 'rollers' so when an earthquake hits, the building gently rolls back and forth instead of crumbling under the pressure....I would imagine that California is probably the safest place to live....so, if that is where you feel you want to live, go for it!

Oh wow! That is some very interesting and useful information. Thanks Rhonda! I guess it's the same down south where they get lots of hurricanes (second nature to them).
