I should bake something chocolate, but I just got the kitchen clean from canning. I guess I'll just have a piece of Dove chocolate.

Well, I haven't tried this.....but for anyone who HAS to have their chocolate....

THE 5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE CAKE FOR ONE PERSON........LOOK OUT WORLD LOL

5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE
4 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
A small splash of vanilla extract
1 large coffee mug (MicroSafe)

Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly.
Pour in the milk and oil and mix well...
Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla extract, and mix again.
Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts.
The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed!
Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.
EAT ! (this can serve 2 if you want to feel slightly more virtuous).
And why is this the most dangerous cake recipe in the world?
Because now we are all only 5 minutes away from chocolate cake at any time of the day or night!

Every September our church ladies have a Mug and Muffins night and use a recipe like this. It is really good!! Our meeting for this year is scheduled for next Thursday night. I'm looking forward to it. Maybe I'll just have to have a sneak peek and try this recipe out.

Kara tried a mug recipe this summer. Not sure if it's the same one, but it was pretty good.

Ok, I know tht I've posted this before but I don't mind posting it again. I have a book of poems that I find and have to keep, this is one of them.

Chocolate Is A Vegetable
Chocolate is derived from the cocoa bean. Bean = vegetable
Sugar is derived from either sugar cane or sugar beets.
Both of them are plants in the vegetable category.
Thus, chocolate is a vegetable.
To go one step further,
chocolate candy bars contain milk which is dairy.
So, candy bars are a health food.
Coloclate covered raisins, cherries, orange slices and strawberries
all count as fruit, so eat as many as you want.
Remember.....
"STRESSED" spelled backwards is "DESSERTS".
