Please pray for the family of Nathan Elrod. He is a Marine who was killed in Iraq yesterday. My son knew him from high school ROTC.

They say that this October has been the dealiest for our US Troops....We had an Arkansan that died this weekend too. He was a police officer training the troops about being military police........so sad......

I know this is an old thread, but I just want to say I am sorry to hear about this. My nephew who was only 27 was in Iraq and his tank was blown up, he and all but one person died. He got burned really badly. He seemed to have been getting better, then suddenly they found him dead. So I feel Nathan's family's pain. It was one of the worst things I have ever been through. He was so handsome and sweet. He was engaged and has a son that is about 1 year old. bawling
