Well, my mom heard it on the news or read it in article. Their trying get rid of delivering the mail to your house. I tried look more info about it. I don't see any. So, looks like will have to do when LHOTP did. go to town get your mail. Not sure when gonna start. Sometime in the near future. So far it's in the states. Not sure other countries.

So, what do you guys think?

I've heard that they were thinking of stopping Saturday delivery, but not stopping it all together. OhMy

It's a bill that they're trying to get passed - H.R. 2309. I haven't read a lot about it, but it would stop Saturday mail delivery completely, and eliminate door-to-door delivery for some people as well. (Mostly in small towns, if I read it correctly.) The towns affected would have "drop spots" at the end of their roads, and people would have to go to the drop spots to get their mail. Now....I may not be completely accurate in how I read it because I was just doing some quick reading about it - but if you look up H.R. 2309, you should be able to find plenty of information.

We don't get mail on saturdays/sunday's.Just newspaper. I have NOT heard anything about that.Hope that doesn't happen.People don't got time to go to town and get mail.much easy to get it at house.

That's what my dad told us. Their thinking about stopping the mail on Saturday. He's letter carrier. So far he still works on Saturdays.

Here nobody gets there mail delivered to there house they either have Drop Spots on both ends of the streets where everybody has a mail box or you have to go the post office

Didn't heard anything about it here. The only day mail is not delivered in my country is Sundays and Saturday's evening. scratchead

in my street.The mail men sucks. the mail comes late sometimes.

Ours too. Comes late. we don't know, when it comes. But, I don't worried.

I go to the mailbox once a week. Nothing in there but ad's and an occasional letter from my grandma.
And bills. Yuck, bills.
