| I think it's so nice what they did for Alden.fixing up that house for him.Poor MR.Edwards thought other wise that something was going on.It just shows how are minds play tricks on us and we act on emotions before knowing the facts.I guess everyone does. “Tomorrow is a new day with no mistakes in it... | I can't help but bursting in laugh when Sarah Carter began to hit Mr. Edwards ! She was very upset when she realized that he believes Laura and herself were having an affair with "the other reverend". Vanesa. | |

| Oh yes It was so hard to to LOL when that bath scene came on because I was in a room with my sister and didn't want to wake her up! I had to go into the bathroom to let it out! “It was a huge shock when it came and very excited“ This was the duchess of cambridges take on how she felt when William proposed during their official engagement interview with ITN reporter Tom Bradby. There was a real giggle at the end. Cute. | |

| The scene where Mr. Edwards punched the young Reverend was just so typical of Mr. Edwards. Laura was like a daughter to him and he would do anything to protect her, even if it meant going after the Reverend! I also enjoyed the bath scene with Almanzo and John, the looks on their faces when the Japanese man came in was almost too much! | |

| I finished watching this one today. I don't understand the title, since to me it was not Revd. Alden who was in a dilemma.....if anyone, it was either Mr. Edwards or maybe John and Almanzo.
The stuff about the Japanese hotel is kind of funny, but I also felt like John and Almanzo were being a bit ungrateful for the lovely bedroom. And I don't know why they could not go back and get a meal there after being let out of prison, since I think they had paid in advance. I also didn't like that they lost all their money to the old lady. I think that part was unnecessary, as there was enough interesting things going on without that additional thing. Also, I would think that someone at the Grange would still let them in if they had their tickets stolen. All that man had to do was probably find someone with a list of invited people, especially with Almanzo being expected to be there to receive the reward.
Also, did Charles have to pay his own way every time he represented Hero Township or Walnut Grove at the Grange? It seems to me that this should be paid for by all the farmers chipping in to send their representative.
Also I feel sad about Revd. Alden getting the house because presumably he will just be blowing it up before too long. What a waste. And also I hate that we hear nothing about his wife. In addition, where has he been living all these years? At this point in his life, I would think moving into a big house like that would be more of a hassle than a blessing. Who is going to keep the place maintained and clean it? Maybe his wife who we never see?
It may sound like I didn't enjoy this episode, but there were many things about it that I did like. I do like that Mr. Edwards is so protective of the women, and I'm glad that Sarah forgave him and hugged him at the end. I think it would have been fun if Almanzo and John returned in time to join in the party at the new house and they take off their boots before they go in and then maybe complain about the food because now they have developed a taste for Japanese food! | |
