Finals time

Well, I am almost done with this semester - what a crazy one it's been! I have finals this week, and I think I will do all right on all of them - except Calculus, which I'm really worried about. Math has never been my strong point, but I've managed to hold a C in this class throughout the semester. To maintain it and pass the class, I need to get at least a C on the final, which is tomorrow. I'm really worried, b/c studying for it has been tough and I'm just feeling the pressure of having to do well on it. I know this isn't as important as other things going on in the world, but if you could, could you please say a prayer for me that I am able to get this test done successfully? I just feel like I've done all I can do, and prayer is the only thing left to guide me through it. Thanks for reading, and sorry for complaining :(

:alright: You aren't complaining Christina, I have heard all kinds of stories from the college kids at our church about calculus and they are SO done with it. Seems everyone is struggling in that. Just do what you are able to do and do fret about it, that will only make it worse. Take a deep breath, dig in and take that test, I know you will pass........Prayers and higs!

Math was never my favorite subject in school. I still count with my fingers. :shy: Take a deep breath and think positive, it will help you go through it and of course, we will pray for you Christina.

LOL thanks everyone, the HIGS make me feel better :) Yes, my final was yesterday (Monday) and pretty nerve-racking. I'm honestly not sure how I did - I got answers for everything, I'm just not sure how right they are. I asked my teacher to email me the score, I'm still waiting on that but I will post it when I find out. Thanks for your prayers and higs, I appreciate it. ::Big higs from me to all of you::

Me too, I was way past being off work and had been fighting for over an hour on a bankruptcy that up and disappeared........guess since I can't win with Lily and Carol around, I'll take a break from the old keyboard......

I am in the midst of the finals as well....i have been pacing myself...and gave myself enough time to study and to write papers...it seems to be working...the trick is to study all semester...so when finals time rolls around, you will be able to cope with it all...but i also do my best work under pressure

I hope your final went well, Christina. Hopefully your instructor will get back to you soon so that you can relax and not worry about it.

I just finished my last final about an hour ago, lol. I am SO ready for a break. I decided not to take a spring class and get my house in order before the kids get out for summer vacation (it's a mess!), and then just enjoy the summer with the kids.

My calculus teacher is making me crazy. Technically, the semester doesn't end until Monday, but I had emailed her and asked if she could just tell me what grade I got on the final (so I would know where I stand), and she said "I'll file the grades before Monday". :( So, I'm still left in suspense!

{{{Christina}}} That's a shame that the teacher isn't getting to it more quickly. . . .Waiting is so hard. Try not to let it eat at you. I know....easier said than done. Believe me, I know that feeling! But you did your best, and you have lots of friends praying for you.

Thanks, Savannah. I appreciate your kind words and prayers. I am so lucky to have this wonderful group of friends. It's been a rocky few months (with the new job and semester), but it makes things so much easier to deal with when I have people like all of you here for me :) <3
