That's exactly the truth! Very true, Krissy. But I don't listen to much-actually, to any, of the "Christian rap" or whatever where you can hardly tell it is contemporary Christian music. In my opinion, there should be a difference between the two. Yeah, I agree. There should be a lot of a difference between the two. You should be able to tell the difference between Christian and "worldly" music, IMHO. Amen! I once saw a Christian band at my former church and I was SHOCKED. It was screamo. (I did not know.) It was "Christian", but half (really all) the songs I could find nothing in it the would define it as Christian. I was ramblings on about nothing really. Every now and then I'd hear something about Jesus, but rarely. It hurt my ears SO bad. I was not expecting that. The little popcorn like balls on the ceiling was even falling off. IMHO, Christian music needs a peace to it because God/Jesus is all about peace and peaceful things. So much compromise. We do not have to be like the world to draw them in. We are supposed to be set apart. God will bring the people in. “Tomorrow is a new day with no mistakes in it... Yet.” ― L.M. Montgomery, Anne of Green Gables | |
