Are IPADS & Tablets really gonna take over Desk tops & Lapto

No, but they have a niche.

I think they are good for if you go on vaction.you can check your FB or whatever. Or for kidsd in the car to shut them up during long car drives.

I do like my laptop. I was thinking about getting IPad. when I go on vacation or at my one doctor's appointment that's such a long time.

I have an iPad. It's small and convenient. Really easy to take along, and has a bajillion apps for everything you can think of. Sometimes if I just want to chill in bed, I take it with me and read, or even watch a movie on Netflix.

I use it the majority of the time, but there are times I would rather use the computer. Some things I can't do on the iPad, for example, you can't use Flash on an iPad (though there are other tablets that you can use it on). So, I can't always watch video on it. Which, I don't watch much video on either the tablet or the computer anyway. But, I really don't think it will replace a desk top or laptop. I think it is more for convenience sake while on the go.

Oh right.I can understand that. I know when im not feeling well i don't like being on the pc.But if i had that it be nice sit on the bed and be online.

Yes.It's good for vaction time.Then you wouldn't need to use a internet cafe place.

I couldn't see using an iPad 24/7, but I wouldn't mind one to make my life a bit easier.
