| For a show set in Minnesota, there are very few LHotP episodes where snow appears, I guess due to the impracticalities of producing artificial snow in southern California. Off the top of my head, the episodes with snow are the pilot movie, Christmas at Plum Creek, Survival, Blizzard, A Christmas They Never Forgot, and Bless All the Dear Children (only at the beginning). Did I miss any? I seem to recall there was another episode where Charles is seen walking across the prairie in snowshoes, but I can't remember which one. It's not Survival that I'm thinking of, where he put together some crude snowshoes to go out hunting when they were stranded in the cabin. Hmm, just can't recall which episode I'm trying to think of. | |

| I agree. I felt that way about DQ too. They never seemed to have any snow in Colorado Springs. | |

Yeah, I know what you mean. Seems like Grace's Cafe was always open, even in the middle of winter! | |

| That was really odd, since in the books there is a lot of moments in which snow is the star. There is even a whole book about snow: "The Long Winter". I know that it's hard - and expensive - to make artificial snow in Califonia, but the Ingalls story without snow seems a little hard to believe... Vanesa. | |
