Yeah, he has been VERY sick with cancer.....had pneumonia and went into a coma....he just came out of that the other day.....he had his family in his room the whole time singing to him.....I think that is so sweet....it might have been what brought him out.....Hoping he continues to improve.....

I had no idea Robin and his son composed a classical orchestral "Titanic Requiem", which premiered just recently, in tribute to the sinking of the Titanic. This is one component of the song, and apparently the song Barry was singing to him when Robin woke out of a coma. Don't listen to this without a Kleenex.

My favorite Robin song. Another sad and poignant one:

Here's another article---lots of pics of the Bee Gees through the years.
What amazes me is that you never heard about any kind of disbandment with these brothers over the years. If there was, I never heard about it. They were very very close to each other, but a lot of times when you get families involved in business together, it can mean disputing. Not with these guys. My heart goes out to Barry...
We own the "One Night Only" PBS special they did back in '97. It's amazing...I highly recommend to all who enjoy their music.

So sad. I love these guys. Poor Barry is the only one left. Must be very hard.
