LHotP Soundtrack?

I've been watching through Little House, and I wondered if there's ever been a soundtrack of David Rose's LHotP music ever made?

If not, were there ever plans to make a soundtrack?

The only one I know of is this one based on the books: :headphone:

I also don't know of a soundtrack with Rose's music, but I'd sure like to have it if it existed. I do have MP3s of the opening and closing themes. I found them years ago by poking around the web. They were on an '80s TV themes web site of some sort. If I come across them again, I'll post the link here.

Oh, neat! I didn't realize that the "Arkansas Traveler" had been released! I'd read about it.

huh. Looks as though a soundtrack for Bonanza was recently released, so maybe eventually a LHotP one will be released.

Last month my brother let me use his Zen to make music clips from LHotP. I have thirty-seven different tracks.

I only have ten uploaded, but that's because I ran out of room! (My Road to Avonlea clips hog most of the space.)

But anyway, if you're interested, just send me a pm and I'll give you the links to the music. I'll post one here so that you have an idea of what they sound like. :) Basically, the quality is just as good as a real cd, except if there's talking in the clip, you'll hear it. There's very very little talking though. :)

I would've posted here sooner, but I was saving the clips for a birthday present for a friend who sometimes visits here. :)

This is the back of the cd cover I designed. It should help give you an idea of what I have. Keep in mind though, I only have ten uploaded. In a month or so, I'll delete these and upload more. :)

I have uploaded, Albert's Theme1, Beating Almonzo (heard in Back to School part two), beginning of the Award, Dan Tucker (above), The Election (season nine), Mary's Theme, Rock of Ages (think of Toby Noe), singing Ol' Dan Tucker, Studying (similar to Music Box), and Swanky Edwards (ride home in Mr. Edward's Homecoming or whatever the name is of the fourth episode of the first season!).

If you have any questions, feel free to ask them!

If you you can think/know of any places where there's music played for a while and is no/little talking, let me know!

The next I make more clips I'm planning to get Houston's music and Lil' Lou's music. :)

That would be cool if they released one.

I really wish I had the free time that I had back in 2007!

I recently rewatched the first three seasons and wrote down times where there is minimal talking. One of these years I'll get around to recording them and uploading them.


I do still have the forty-three clips that I made back in 2007. They aren't uploaded anywhere, but since I now have hi-speed internet uploading them would be no problem.

If anyone is interested in receiving them, let me know and I'll upload them and pm you the links.

I found some David Rose sheet music for the LHOTP theme song on Ebay today.

If I remember correctly this clip is from Mary's birthday in Winoka.
