A bittersweet song by Barry Manilow that's especially fitting on this day...

Perfect, Rob. It's time I came out.....I am a closet Barry fan. I know this song and I know about every song Barry ever did. I have been a crazy fan since I received my first Barry album on my 11th brithday. And his concert that I saw in Pine Knob was among the best I've ever seen.
And yes...
Oh how I hate to see October go.

I like him, too. I've never understood why he's dismissed by the hip crowd. Because he sings mostly love songs? Well geez, so did Frank Sinatra, Elvis, the Beatles, and pretty much every other successful pop artist.

Good point. But yep, he's considered 'corny' now-a-days. And I'll be honest, I really don't listen much anymore. But he's an amazing songwriter and has one of the 'easiest' voices to listen to.

He has a wonderful singing voice. I've always loved him .....even when Clay calls him " Barely Man-enough." GRRRR.

I love Barry Manillow! I love such a wide variety of music. I can listen to 80' s Hair Metal one minute, and Barry Manillow the next! lol
