Have you seen the movie? Did you like it? I did and it was a nice movie. The T.V show was very good and liked it.Tho when i was younger i couldn't get into it. What did you think of the actors who played the parents and the grandfather?

I liked it, it was hard to get used to the different actors. Patricia Neal who played Olivia was Julia Sanderson on the LH episodes Remember Me.

I loved that as a kid. One of my favorite annual Christmas shows. Thanks for posting it, Krissy!

CBS showed it every year at Christmas for many years, then they stopped. I've never seen it on any other channel either. Seems like Hallmark would show it.

gmc showed it this Christmas. The commercials said it hadn't been shown on TV for over 20 years.

The entire series is in Sam's stores if you all want to run out and buy them. I got them all a few years ago. Only paid $8.88 per season for them at the time. I don't think they thought they would sale as they did, because they have gone up a little in price now. They are still worth the money. I found The Homecoming seperate online.
Patricia O'neal is a gem! I honestly love Michael Learned but I thought Patricia set the series off well. My shelves are full of all these family favorites.
