| Did anyone catch the Daytime Emmys on Sunday? Personally, I think its one of the worst awards shows I've ever seen. It was pretty bad last year too...ever since it started airing on HLN (instead of one of the major networks). I'm happy for all of the winners, but even some of those left something to be desired (will not say who I'm disappointed about, don't want to hit a nerve). The show in itself was pretty boring...I kept turning back and forth to the Miami Heat game (uneventful!). The only highlight of the evening was when Corbin Bernsen talked about his mom (Jeanne Cooper)and paid tribute to her. It was a great speech, and it was funny! Actually let out an s-bomb first, than an f-bomb...on live TV! It was all good though! He basically described how his mother would feel about the whole 'memoriam' thing. Of course, all the goody-two-shoes are complaining about the words he used over on his FB page. People should really lighten up...you'd think they never said or did anything wrong in their entire lives (doubt that). Oh my! He said a bad word! Oh wait...he said TWO bad words! For shame! They're only words people...get over it!    As I said, that was actually the highlight of the whole evening...that and all the constant 'bloopers.' The show itself...2 thumbs down! Anyone else watch? | |

| I was shocked when Corbin dropped the f-bomb. It was the worst daytime emmys ever. It should never be shown again on HLN. Not well oraganized and they winners were rushed off the stage. I was disappointed that Y&R didn't win outstanding daytime drama. | |

| I know, it wasn't well organized at all! Plus the fact that it aired on HLN shows how unimportant Daytime TV is right now...that's sad! I wanted Y&R to win too; that, or GH, which has had an amazing comeback year! I can't believe the award was given to Days, and what's with all the awards B&B won? Personally, I think it's the worst soap out there! But that's just me...  | |
