Ebay Book

I just got this on ebay with shipping it was a little over $6 its more then i always pay for used books but its so hard to find i decided to buy it anyway

I have this one..enjoy, its a good one.

I just wonder why they went out of print? Well they have some with the new covers but they just aren't the same

Maybe it's because the author decided to discontinue writing them when they wanted to abridge the series.

I've never heard of this series! I HAVE to get this one for my friend....she is all about Scotland! She'll love it! Congrats on your find, Jacob! 

Amy! How have you not heard of this book? Its actually a Series of 4 Books the Stories are about Laura's grandmother  

Oh neat!  I must be living under a rock, lol.  Oh but hey---I found the entire Little House paperback set today at a garage sale today, 50 cents each!!  I already had a few, but have been missing some of the books for awhile.  I'm happy about my find, but I must admit, I REALLY want a beautiful set in hardcover!!  Why has no one marketed this?   Can't you see it, brown leather bound, with gold trim?  Would be beautiful!  For now I'll be happy with my paperbacks though.

What a great find and Cheap to :tUp:mine are also used i have been thinking about getting a new box set but i wouldn't be able to part with the ones i have for sentimental Value so i think i better just stick to my old ones, But Yes brown leather bound, with gold trim would be a real eye catcher i wouldn't be able to pass those up if they had them

I usually always see one or two at the thrifts stores, Krissy...I think you'd really like them. You don't have to go in order---my favorite is "These Happy Golden Years".

Yes...I'm sure we're talking a pretty penny if they ever come out with something like that though. I'd find the money somewhere though!

So which ones were you still missing till now?

I think I have all of them now---I have to see if I have In the Big Woods---it seems like I still might be missing that one. But I'm getting closer and closer to finally being completed! 

I am considering rescuing any forlorn LHOP book and using the illustrations in crafts. I've seen some but have to come up with an original idea.

Oh, I just meant that if you were bored with maybe, say, "In the Big Woods", you could skip to something else and it wouldn't be a big deal. (Not like you don't know what's going to happen. ) I do prefer the TV series over the books---it took me forever to 'get into' them actually---but I did come to enjoy them as I got older. I'm more into the books about Laura's adulthood though now.

Now that I have the full set I can try. I didn't have trouble getting into the Lucy M.M books because they were written in a more adult why. But ya I guess if im bored why not lol

Maybe if I found some adult books about her life. I be more into them. Yeah I know a lot what goes on from the show lol
