Curious to know if any of you have seen this! Its an 18 episode mini series that I picked up yesterday in the bargain bin. Released in 1998 on the UPN network. Had never heard of it. What caught my eye was the top of the DVD. 'Fans of Little House Will Love This". Really quite good! I don't know how I missed this, but if you see it anywhere for five bucks, I highly recommend it! Its two disc DVD with 18 episodes.....Beautifully photographed!!!!!!

I love this show. I was disappointment, when they canceled it. Clay was my favorite character on the show. I didn't know, they had DVD out.

*huge gasp* DAVE! What a find!! I'm going to go check the bargain bin at my Walmart! (Well - not right NOW. The roads are horrible, and the snow is still coming down.) I really liked what I had seen of that series years ago. Thanks for mentioning it! I've been looking for that, as a matter of fact.

I'm about six episodes in and it's a good story. There are 3 brothers (one adopted) and two sisters......It has a definite Little House feel when it comes to family. The Father's love for his kids reminds me of a Charles without question.......only he has the resources to protect his family at any cost.......the youngest daughter is a lot like half pint.........

I'll have to look for that. I need a present for Erin, and she loves horses.

This is the main theme for Legacy. Finished the first disc yesterday. Great music in the series. Great, great family story!

Finished this series. It didn't end with a huge cliff hanger, but I am sorry it ended. There would have been so many more things to tell about.
Dave, why don't you continue this series in written form. Feel challenged? MY favorite....Grayson McCouch...Sean Logan. I watched him on ATWT as Dusty for YEARS. He is so yummy.

It was a sin that series was cancelled. I thought it was really good! When I finish this "War and Peace" thing I'm working on, I may just do that.............

This series looks SO good! I really want to see it, even though it was only 2 seasons. It's always such a bummer when a good series ends too soon.
Why don't I remember Grayson as Dusty? I remember Brian Bloom as Dusty---was he replaced at some point? (I only remember Brian because oh my gosh, who can forget those blue eyes??? I never forgot that actor's name!!). But I had stopped watching ATWT at some point and maybe never realized that Dusty came back as another actor?

I DO remember Brian Bloom and his EYES! Yes, they brought Dusty back and he got involved with Jennifer Munson. Grayson was such a good actor. Very kind, romantic and so sweet you totally feel in love with Dusty all over again. He is much like this in Legacy too. He is very devoted to his family and despite growing up and doing his own thing you still see love in his heart. WATCH it Amy!
I have always been a fan of Brett Cullen. He fits the "PA" role just perfect. He was recently on the show Revenge and was killed off really quick. He has always been a great actor.
YOU will love the clothing . I sort of laughed at the makeup the ladies wore. Just didn't seem to go for the show. Just thought they needed to tone it down some. I am still seeing it at Walmart in the $5 bin!

I'll take your word for it Gin! THAT was the worst. My friend has the 'movie' that supposedly wrapped it all up and I don't even want to watch it---I heard it's terrible and if it doesn't even have Kelli Martin, what is the point?!

Actually, for me it was pretty much just as bad. . . . But the series is DEFINITELY worth it anyway. And I've mentally written the ending, so it's all good.

DON'T WATCH IT, AMY!! I made the mistake of starting to watch it, not realizing that they'd used an imposter to play Christy. It. Was. Awful. I didn't finish it, but those few whine-filled minutes that I did watch were burned into my memory banks.
