| Thanks for posting that, Rhonda. I was going to ask Rob if he knew along which part of the lake that was taken. It is way north of us. This is what the part of Lake Michigan by us looked like on Tuesday, although we did not ventured out to see it. This next picture of Lake Michigan is from just south of us where Erin goes to school. And she only got 2 snow days! | |

| Beautiful, Lori! And yeah, the ice balls were at Glen Arbor, just west of Traverse City. It's about 50 miles west of where I live. | |

| Whoa! That is kind of wild! I am shivering, just looking at it! I love Glen Arbor! I have yet to vacation there, but we've visited several times, and my sister goes every year with her family and stays at the resort in this picture, called The Homestead. What a dream! Great pictures Lori! Yep, Nick only got two days off at WMU too. But I guess it's the first they've taken off 2 days in a row in at least a couple of decades! And I'm SO relieved that we didn't have to worry about him walking to his classes in those kinds of windchills! Yesterday (his first day back) was still really cold, but manageable, he said. Anyway...thanks for sharing this, Rob & Rhonda! “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

| I had never heard of those before, Rhonda, until this winter. A couple of Ohio FB friends had posted pictures of them in their yards.
Those ice caves would be neat to see.

| Rhonda, I've never seen those before! Wild! Lori, did you hear that 3 people fell through the ice on Lake Michigan this past weekend?! I was shocked to hear that!! “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

| Yes, I had heard because Gary got a little grief from people at work for having gone on the ice. I never would have thought we would go on the ice, but it was pretty thick and went so far out. We did not go out very far and were not on it for very long. It was just south of us were the people fell in. They were out past the light house. I had wanted to walk out to our light house using the pier, but the pier was so iced over that we didn't risk it. This was probably a once in a lifetime thing for us. If we hadn't had such a cold winter, we definitely have gone on the ice. | |
