I just want to ask for immediate prayers....there is a huge pile-up over a half mile long on the freeway, not far from where I live.  This used to be my husband's commute.  Just feeling terrible for all those involved.  Please pray for those who are injured.

Will be praying....this weather is causing all sorts of headaches and accidents......Yesterday, a ladies SUV had to be pulled out of a pond that was partly frozen over. She said her brakes locked on her; which means the ABS ( Anti-lock brake systems) kicked in when she slammed on the brakes...You don't slam the brakes on in ice and snow.....She was lucky someone saw what happened....he was able to walk out thigh deep to help them off the top of the vehicle and back to solid ground....  No

Oh my gosh Rhonda, how awful! Yes, thank God that person saw it happen and was able to help her!

What's scary is what's happening in other places, like what happened in Georgia, and now Kansas---places that aren't used to driving in this kind of weather! We Michiganders certainly know how to drive in these conditions, but there's not much to be done if you're in the middle of a white-out, except pray! This winter needs to just END. affraid

Prayers going up now. How awful. I can't wait for this winter to be over.

I have thought more about Laura's LONG WINTER this year. I can't imagine not being able to get out and have to fight to keep warm as well as try to ration food!
Stay safe everyone. We have been dealing with sleet a lot lately. No snow but sleet is something we just don't see WAY down here.
