Amen, Joe. I didn't click on this...just can't watch that right now. But I loved your comment and had to reiterate.

| Miss Rhonda, I watched it twice, I don't know why because I cannot stand to see dogs or cats abused or abandoned. BUT, Miss Amy, please take the time to watch the video. Seeing the doggie wagging it's tail and regaining sight is worth it!! Every day we see and read negative news stories in the paper and on TV. This video is the opposite of that, a testament to the good that is in people, and proof that the world is not full of ***holes. There ARE people that care. The song that accompanied the video, sung by Anvil Lasagna, was very touching. "Willie, were you or were you not looking at the corsett ads in the catalogue?" - Nels

Good post Rhonda. I can't watch those commercials on TV, I cry every time..

| I want to show this to my vet ....I've had to take our Heidi in for her normal allergies and have her hip looked at. My vet wanted me to do a $600 allergy testing run on her and there is no way I can afford that. She acted as if I had not been feeding her or something. I just wish sometimes some of these vets were a little more concerned for THOSE kinds of problems instead of me not doing extensives tests on this minor problem. ALTHOUGH poor Heidi didn't think so I'm sure. Heidi had gotten so tense with the itching that she locked up a muscle in her back leg and couldn't walk. I was told a few years ago she had hip dysplasia...so I just assumed that she had popped it out. Thankfully that wasn't it.
I think I will look for another vet. Tired of the attitude. Oh, and Heidi didn't like the video that was being played in the room anyway. It was a puppet dog on a " how to care for your pet when sick" video and the dog would whine and bark. Heidi is a bit warped already from the Geico pig...so she barked and barked at that dog. lol It is the lack of Christianity that has brought us where we are. Not a lack of churches or religious forms but of the real thing in our hearts. LIW.....Words From a Fearless Heart

| I love stories like this....I was just already very emotionally charged yesterday and didn't need to trigger that. I just watched this....yep, it brought me to tears....what a beautiful story and what a sweet spirit. Just look at how trusting she was in such a short period of time. And I love the song too, Joe. And I really adore these people. I shared a similar story a few weeks ago on my facebook, with the title, "It's amazing what a little love can do." http://www.godvine.com/Heartwarming-Rescue-of-a-Dog-Living-in-a-Parking-Lot-1165.html | |
