Just finished the book the movie is based on. Coming Soon this Easter.....

  Dave, thank you for posting that. I've read the book, and I didn't know that it was being made into a movie. The book was quite moving - I really look forward to seeing the movie!

I just hope the Good Lord has PC's up there! At least I could still keep an eye on my favorites on this board!

So this IS based on the book, huh?  My mother talked about wanting to read the book for so long and she couldn't remember the name of it.  It is the same title, right?

I want to make sure of the title.  After all, book: Shoeless Joe; movie: "Field of Dreams".  If someone didn't know better, they wouldn't know it was the same thing.    

I know she is disappointed that the movie was made before she could read the book.  But I don't know what the big deal it.  It isn't like anyone is forcing her to see the movie before she reads the book!   

I just finished the book too. It looks so good. I also read 90 minutes in Heaven if anyone would like to read that one.
I will be on the lookout for the movie!

Just saw the commercial....it is in theaters this Wednesday.....   

I woke up this morning to my radio station giving away tickets to this movie!  I think it's just great that more religious movies are making it to the big screen for a period of time. Most of them are not critically revered right now (no surprise there  ) but they're doing great with audiences and that is so nice to see!   I can't believe I haven't read this book yet...I need to look for a copy at the library.

We want see this movie. Comes out tomorrow. Usually movies at the theater comes out Friday. But, their probably doing it early, cause of Easter coming up this Sunday.

Looks good. Never heard of the book.

Sandy and I went to see it today. A moving movie with a great message.....Heaven is not only real, but it's also all around us.............
When the movie was over, NOBODY got up to leave.........The interesting thing about the story is that it is not about a near death experience.
A 4 year old boy simply see's heaven while being treated for an appendix problem.

Quite a story.............

Thanks.  I just looked it up and they are completely gone at the library, with multiple holds.  People can check books out for 3 weeks (more if there are no requests - in this case there are).  So it would be awhile before I got it.

I hope your library will have a copy as opposed to mine.  There are 62 in the metro area (if my calculation was right   ) and they are all currently spoken for (with a bunch of others waiting for their turn to read it). Good luck if you try to get a copy!

We saw this movie yesterday. I enjoy watching it. The only problem we had. This mom and her kids kept getting out of the seat. Like several times. In our aisle. Got annoying. Towards the end of the movie, the finally sat down in the front seat. They should sit there in the first place.

I saw this last night, it was very good. Now I will have to read the book.
