I was doing screen caps of He was only twelve today. Do you guys think in part 2 Charles' beard is real? I'm not sure.:scratch: Also, Do you like Charles in the beard? I do. happy1

I don't know either way, but he sure grew that in quick if it was real. I prefer him clean shaven. He looks much older with a beard.

I believe it's fake. But some of the makeup artists are so talented, they will make anything fake look real.

Fake, almost sure of it. He doesn't looks so bad with beard...But maybe we are used to see our Charles without any beard...And think that real Charles WORE beard! grinsmiley

It totally looks fake to me. I hate big beards like that on men. They look like Wolf Man Jack! lol A guy needs to show his handsome face. I goatee or an outline of a beard is very sexy though!

I like beards on some men. It can be very handsome. I'm not too crazy about goatees or outline beards. One man had just the tiniest bit of hair growing just under the center of his lower lip. I was obsessive compulsive about it! LOL!! It drove me bonkers! It looked like something had dripped on his chin, and he hadn't wiped it off.

LOL. One time when I was younger this guy had a little pile of hair on the side of his head. The rest was bald. It looked like someone took a dump on his head!!!:fullmoon: :Hahaha:

I like the beard look too. But...it has to be kept up. I also like the goatees. Jim always has one. happy1

Yes - it has to be well-kept. That makes all the difference in the world. I don't know why I don't care for goatees......*shrugs* But that's okay........I won't disown anyone over a goatee, I just don't like them very much. grinsmiley

Can I tell you now that when I saw the title of this thread I really thought we were going to assess whether a certain part of some actress' upper body was real or not?

It really seems to give him a worn out tired look. My opinion is that it's fake. When I first read the title of this I thought it was going to be about someone from LHOTP having plastic surgery and I was like wow I didn't know they did that in the 70's- lol

But there WAS plastic surgery in the 70's! Well, even in the 50's! And I read about an Empress of Russia, Maria Feodorovna, who undergo a surgery in her face near 1905 or so. So, not so rare to get plastic surgery in the 70's.

As for this beard: it seems made in plastic..and must be! They put it in Charles for they needs to show that a lot of days had passed and he cared so much for James that he never shave until she got well. :shifty:

Yeah, I've seen fake beards in theatre and they looked like that. This one guy's started to fall off on stage, lol.
