Did any of the Ingall's visit their home after they left?

I don't remember that happening, even in the movies, but I thought I'd ask. It would have seemed weird in a way, "Oh look what you've done with the place" and kind of bittersweet.

I never could really adjust to seeing the Carters there although I liked them..they made it different enough, but still, a bit of an adjustment.

I believe in THE LAST FARWELL they did go stay in the Little House and kept the Carters boys while they were gone.

You're right, Gin. That kind of bugged me because they shipped the Carters off while everything developed with the railroad. If they wanted viewers to feel like the Carters were really important to the town, they shouldn't have kicked them out for most of the last episode.

Dont forget who got the dynamite. Without it, would have had to be a different ending. Carter got it on his trip.......

You're right. Without them they wouldn't blow up the whole town .

I know, but it just seemed like an easy way to get Charles and Caroline to stay in the house.

I rented the last one to watch again from netflix...I forgot some of it, except the ending, and I'd like to see how they look back in the house, etc. Sad though, probably wont watch it again.
