Here is a treatment for a LHOTP episode I'm probably never going to write.....

All this talk about Little House on the Prairie has got me thinking. I just might be the only person with the will and qualifications to write a Little House fan fic in which Pa Ingalls gets pulled over driving his wagon too fast. He gets in a tussle with the local constable over Pa's expired Buckboard Licence.
Pa once again loses his temper and all hell breaks loose, freshly sawn logs are used as makeshift weapons until the Constable, let's call him Larry, gets the upper hand and puts Pa in wrought iron shackles before he hauls him off to the pokey.
Nellie Olseson represents Pa at his arraignment hearing in nearby Mankato, Minnesota. (this is where I'll get to shed a little bit of Nellies compassion and caring side that we didn't get to see on the television show.)
Nellie shines and gets Pa off with nothing but an admonishment to re-new his Buckboard Licence.
Emboldened by her success, Nellie files a lawsuit, claiming Pa was abused and physically assaulted, against the Mankato Constabulatory and Pa is awarded 2 new pigs and gets his licence re-newed at no cost.
Yeah, I think this could work.

Very nice. I like that much better than your original title, "A Buckboard Named Desire."
