| I already knew they were LHOTP dolls, but of course, they portrayed the book characters and not the ones taken from the show. However, you are able to find Nellie's dolls. One of them has even portrayed Nellie's doll...with another little doll (she came from Paris!!!! ) she is holding close to her...It was cute! Vanesa. | |

| Hi, Rhonda: I remember perfectly that you spoke about your aunt's doll collection in Missouri. It was in the old Forum...How lucky she is. I just love vintage dolls. I have a "Nellie" of my own, but I did no purchase her as a "Nellie" originally. She just have her kind of curls and was dressed in the same elegant way she used to be, and with clothes from the very same period. So, it cost me much less than a "real" Nellie's doll. And I think any good vintage doll with pigtails and dressed like Laura was could be a "Laura" doll...and the same for all the other characters in the books and TV Show. What do you think about it? Vanesa. | |

| They are so cute! Thanks for sharing! I didn't know that they exist. But I agree, Vanesa, it doesn't have to be out of the series. |

Vanesa. Any doll can be made into what you want it to be. My aunt has purchased several antique dolls and then had to fix them up a bit with hair and clothing, and by the time she was finished, they had taken on a whole new personality. So, yes, I agree, if you find a doll that reminds you of Laura, Nellie or any other Ingalls', grab it up and make it your own....CANCER FREE!!! April 9, 1998-April 9, 2025-I AM A SURVIVOR!!! | |

| Does anyone remember these? I personally have them all but Almanzo. My grandmother bought them for me. And she would use every holiday that passed by as an excuse to give me one. I really don't know why, but the only one that I didn't get was Almanzo. Does anyone know where I might be able to find one at a cheaper price? The original box is of no interest to me. I am not that picky. Also, what is this? Is this supposed to be Willie, do you think? When I was looking this up, they said this picture was of Nellie. No. It is clearly NOT the Nellie doll!! I have her, anyway. But was there a Willie? I never knew if there was one. Then I need him, too! Who's going to do the cooking?!?! | |

| Well, Rhonda is the one to ask. She has them all, given by her Aunt. SO, Maybe she could tell you. Good luck. It is the lack of Christianity that has brought us where we are. Not a lack of churches or religious forms but of the real thing in our hearts. LIW.....Words From a Fearless Heart | |

| I don't think there was an "Albert" doll, since Albert was a made up character for the show and never existed in real life. I've always believed that the Ingalls dolls were about the REAL characters on the books, not on the TV series. Maybe this doll represents Willie Olseon, since Willie IS a character on the books...But I'm sure he is NOT Johnny Johnson! Vanesa. | |
