Yep, it's supposed to be quite bad weather here, too. Heavy rain, damaging winds, and possible tornadoes. And yet, I'm certain that there will be trick-or-treaters out there.

Wow Lisa, really?! I hadn't heard about this! But yes, it's been raining ALL day here today. Not fun getting out in the rain, in costumes, taking the kids to the library! But they don't care, they had fun anyway.
This is TOO cute not to share....I visit this blog called "The Lettered Cottage" and in their area they have a hay bale decorating contest for Halloween (country area). Look how creative these are! Click the link and then scroll down a little for pictures:

I noticed so many "Teens" Come. Not to many kids. The last time I went out for Halloween was when I was in 6th grade. Not many kids come around anymore. I kind of don't like Halloween.

We only had ten trick-or-treaters tonight. The weather must've kept them indoors. It's very rainy.

We had MUCH milder weather than was predicted, thankfully! Of course, the night isn't over yet - but the trick-or-treating is, so the kids are safe.

Same here---it barely rained from 6-8:00! So happy for the trick or treaters!!
(Oh, and Krissy...I know what you mean. It's changed a lot and kids are out getting candy well into their teens now. But the way I see it, I'd rather they be doing something as fun and harmless as trick or treating then out getting into trouble, you know? )

We hibernated, Rob....decided not to spend the $$ on candy this year. But our neighborhood is becoming pretty dull...our numbers have really dwindled down these last 4 or 5 years. I'm glad there was more activity when my boys were young.

I've been doing that trick for years! Actually, I palm two and drop ONE in! At the end of the night I have twice as much as I started with! Keeps my yearly candy costs down!

Brilliant! I used to do that in church when they passed the collection basket.
