Ever wonder where the Little House Theme came from? It came from the "Top Hand" of Bonanza. David Rose wrote and adapted it to Little House...

Wow, I had no idea. I knew that Michael had reworked Bonanza scripts into Little House episodes, but didn't know that the theme also originated there. Nice find, Dave!

I saw another episode on Bonanza the other night, that he reworked. Silent Cry. Almost identical.

I didn't realize that the first Little House episode premiered less than two years after the last Bonanza!
