Repeated Story Lines

Just wondering but did anyone else think that sometimes the writers repeated story lines? Like Doctory's Lady, and then in a later season the one were Mr. Edwards falls in love with the one blind lady. Or the My Ellen and Bless All The Dear Children. Even kind of For the Love of Blanche and The Wild Boy. Am I making any sense? Let me know.

Yes I know what you mean, that one guy in an earlier season was addicted to morphine just like Albert.

Yeah. Quite a lot of them. I'm remembering one right now: Nancy faling into the well is a very similar story to the one of Carrie falling into the mine shaft. :think:

There was also the stupid criminals story line in "The Legend of Black Jake" and "The Older Brothers". I've noticed this also, but I can't think of any other examples right now.

Another similar storylines: the one of "The Plague" and the other where all the ppulation or almost all of it gets attacked by antrax...And let me think about others. I'm sure I'll find them! batEyes

Yes, "The Plague" and "Mortal Mission" have similar plot. That poor actor played in both episodes and lost his wife and son.

Well I suppose with over 200 episodes it would become more and more difficult to make up new storylines. But the thing I always notice is that some LHOP storylines are the same as in some Bonanza episodes... Just cn´t think of any right now but I know there are a lot of them. I always realize that when I watch Bonanza

Yeah we mentioned that over here somewhere before. I have only watched a handful of the Bonanza episodes. So I didn't get the chance to notice it, but I do believe it.
