One of my favorite songwriters, Dar Williams. "February."
And February was so long that it lasted into March, and found us walking a path alone together. You stopped and pointed and you said, "That's a crocus," and I said, "What's a crocus?", and you said, "It's a flower." I tried to remember, but I said, "What's a flower?" You said, "I still love you."

Here is some Barry for you:
(the most depressing version ever and it was depressing to begin with!)
(from his newest album - I love how he sounds with Sammy - great song, anyway, co-written by the hugely underrated Anthony Newley)
(I HAD to include this one!!! )
(this is what I am talking about right here! )
Why am I going crazy with Barry Manilow? Because I am going to see him in February!!! I love Barry Manilow and I don't care who knows it!
Who's going to do the cooking?!?!

Hey Everybody! I had a little time this weekend and ran into a happy little thing on the net.........A lot of you probably remember Robby Benson of "Ice Castles" fame. He also made "The Loneliest Runner" and "Ode To Billy Joe" in the seventies.
Well, it seems as though he did a little singing in the seventies. As with most teen idols back then, they always seemed to end up in a recording studio. This is a demo song that was never published that he did way back then..........thought you might enjoy it. It reminded me of two pretty good friends that hung out together during the same time period!
For you younger ones that don't know who Robby was, here is a pic of him......
"Albert, do you REALLY think you are old enough to know what love is?" "I must be Pa. I love you, I have for a long time."

I remember Robby. I also didn't know he was a singer. I knew his wife, Karla DeVito, was. Here they are together.

I love this! I've heard that this band has tried to compare themselves to the Beatles, and even Paul McCartney told them that they shouldn't do that. Because no one will ever be as good as John, Paul, George, and Ringo!

This song has recently become a sort of inspiration for my writing because in one of the stories I'm working on, one of the main characters plays the piano, and I imagined him learning to play this song.
