Geez. You always read about things like this in the paper, but you never think it's gonna happen to you.

My golden retriever is also a thief. Her favorite things to steal are TV remote controls. Casey did this as a puppy - she'd grab it off the couch and run away with it - but I thought she'd outgrow it in time. Well, she's five now, and still stealing. She doesn't usually do any damage, but now and then she'll bite down a little too hard, and it's off to Kmart for a new one. I've probably had to buy about a dozen replacements over the years. :unsure:

HA! What a rascal! I love Golden Retrievers. I have a Springer Spaniel now, and she's a wonderful dog. (Outside of the fact that she's a klepto.) She was in the kitchen with her face stuffed in the box. If she'd have had ANY manners, she'd have just poured a few crackers out and snacked on those - but NOOOO......she had to stuff her face right in there, and slobber on all of the crackers.

But I do miss my Golden Retriever, Emily. She was such a great dog. She was so close to my first cat, that when he was a kitten, she'd let him ride around hanging by his teeth from her ear! When she'd get tired of it, she'd just shake her head and fling him off. LOL

Agreed. Just watching the news makes me depressed to see and hear what people are doing to each other. Just today I heard about an11-year-old boy being shot to death in Liverpool by some other kids. What is wrong with the world

My life bothers me sometimes too. I need to get out more. I am always to tired from working different shifts every week. I used to love to go to the clubs and stuff.
