I'm not sure if I did well on my job interview last night. I was so nervous I couldn't think straight, lol. I had never been interviewed by more than one person and there were three last night. Threw me off a bit. But I think I did okay, overall.

I gotta work today.

I hear ya. I can't take another vacation until after the Holidays.

Here in Argentina, Christmas and New year are the moment of the year really ends, for it is the start of Summer Holidays. But this facts makes all people crazy and wanting to finish all the things they left on the track BEFORE these two Holidays...and then, all people is hurried, and the whole city of Buenos Aires, a big place filled with crazy persons. THis makes me miserable until Christmas comes and I feel a great relief.

I LOVE Christmas, but HATES the days before it comes. They are really crazy days.

My computer's Office program is driving me nuts. It keeps pointing out that I've used a reflexive pronoun. I know I used a reflexive pronoun. . . . I WANT a reflexive pronoun. It fits!

And I understand what are you experiencing with you computer Office program. It tries exactly the same pranks with me! But don't worry. We can live with computers, but we can't live without them either!

Very true, Vanesa! LOL I can type SO much faster than I could possibly handwrite! I can type over a hundred words a minute . . . . wouldn't it be fun to watch someone handwrite something that fast?? :Hahaha: So, for most stories, I type it right into my computer. I just have to be sure to back it up on disc!

My best friend from high school got married in Vegas today. She was maid of honor at my wedding and I really had always thought that I'd be able to attend her wedding. Well, being that it was in Vegas and for many reasons, I just could not manage to go, I was at least a bit comforted by the fact that I could watch her being married live, on the internet.

Well, of all times for something to go wrong, my internet was down at the time she was getting married. I called our internet provider and there was just a message that SE Michigan customers were without internet service and that they were working on it. Well, about 3 minutes before my friend was getting married, I was able to log in, but then found out that I needed to download a Windows Player to view it. I didn't have enough time. I was so bummed that I was in tears. You only get one wedding (well hopefully), and I missed it altogether.

I did get a chance to call her and congratulate her, and she did assure me that she got plenty of pictures. But still, I didn't get to see it!!

Oh Pam, that's sad :alright: I hate when things like that happen

Well, since I have to replace my permanent US residence card, I am bothered by the term 'Alien'....
Some people might call me a 'short alien'... but I much rather prefer the term 'vertically challenged immigrant'.

LOL, Carol! I should hate the word "alien" too! It reminds me to a certain movie...Ugh. I like much more - and by far- your "vertically challenged immigrant" .

To Savannah: well , I write fast in handwriting as well as in my keyboard, but my problem is that I made so many PC friends, and have the habit of visiting so many good sites to speak to so excellent people (like this one, for example! ) that I couldn't be without computers. I need my virtual friends as much as the ones I have around me. Going to internet is a vice to me... :sad5: But I love it. I'm an addict to some good sites in the net.
