Wanna go for a ride?

I was up for hours last night, because I had asthma and chest pain. (I usually don't have asthma, so I don't have a rescue inhaler) So this morning I overslept, grabbed a quick cup of coffee, and hurried out the door to take a lady from my church to her doctor's appointment. (Yes, I did take the time to get dressed. :Hahaha: ) But I was SO tired! Thank the Lord for coffee! Anyway.......on the way there, two deer ran out in front of us, and another came and stood as close to the road as he could without getting hit. Then on the way home, two MORE deer ran out in front of us! affraid

Who knew that it was National Scare Savannah Day? :faint2: :haha:

:Hahaha: Ummmm, no thank you.....we have enough deer here to scare Rhonda!!! In fact, before Jake left for Basic Military Training in July, he hit a deer on Josh's motorcycle........killed the poor deer, but kept the bike up! Don't know how he rode it out, but the deer are EVERYWHERE!!! By the way, Josh's bike is finally fixed.....:haha:

Oh my word.........And I thought this morning was bad! affraid

Tonight, on my way to the bank, a van turned onto the road I was on, turning toward me . . . . only, the driver didn't realize that they had turned into the wrong lane - MINE! I had to pull off nearly into a ditch, and the two vehicles behind me did the same before she realized that she wasn't in the proper lane! Y'all can be very glad that you didn't ride with me.

OH. . . . there *was* a funny moment to it, though. :Hahaha: . . . . . My Mom happened to be looking through her purse for her sunglasses when this all happened - and it happened VERY quickly.........So, when I swerved off really quickly, she asked in a completely calm, nonchalant voice: "Oh. . . . are we turning here, dear?". :Hahaha:

Savannah you have the best stories! I'm just glad you always get out of these sticky situations safely!

We have deer around here too - Mike was driving us back one night, I forget from where, and this small deer (a doe, perhaps), jumped out by the front of the passenger side of the car, hesitated like it was thinking of leaping all the way in front of us, then darted back into the woods. And me, in my naive state, said, "Wow, that dog came out of nowhere!" :haha: It happened so quickly I couldn't tell at first! (Mike assured me that a poor lost dog wasn't running around in the woods, LOL).

And the squirrels like to play games with me. Every morning on my way to work and every evening on my way home, they wait until I'm coming around the corner to run into the street, then they stand in the middle of the road looking at me until I stop my car, and finally scamper across the road.
