Prayers needed for Madilyn Grace

I received an email last night from a lady I babysat for back in 1990. (He oldest son was the first child I babysat! He's 17 now!) She has just given birth to her 4th child, Madilyn Grace on Monday Jan. 7th. Madilyn was full term and weighed 7lb 4 oz. but after her birth began having breathing problems. The hospital did all they could for her there, so decided to send her to another one in the area. The family lives in Clarksville, TN.
This baby means the world not only to her parents (after having three boys) but also her mom's family. This is the first grandaughter out of 8 other grandsons!
The baby is in ICU and I haven't heard anymore on her condition today. If this isnt enough the father is supposed to be leaving for Iraq next week, and is trying hard to get his orders changed. Please pray for this family and I'll try to keep you all updated. Thanks..Gin

Yours prayers are working! Madilyn has been able to start breathing on her own now, but is on antibotics for awhile. Her Mommy and Daddy got to hold her last night and she looks nice and pink.
Mike(her Daddy) is still working to change his orders but he is hopefull. If all keeps going well Madilyn should go home in the next few days. Thanks for the prayers ! Gin

Got a great update about Madilyn. She has been taken off all IV fluids and is now eating every three hours. She has had a touch of Jaundice, so she has had her first tanning session. They will be checking her blood tomorrow to see if she needs to use her bikini any longer. Hopefully she will be coming home tomorrow..(Mon). The doctor has told her parents that Madilyn should be a perfectly normal baby with no long term problems resulting from her initial respiratory distress after her birth.
Mike(her daddy) has been approved to stay back for at least a few weeks until things are normal at home.
Thanks for all the prayers for Madilyn, she is a very blessed little girl.
