It's been years since I helped with it....but from what I remember, you make up the meatloaf mixture, put it (raw) into hot canning jars, wipe the rims clean, seal them up and then process them in a pressure cooker for a little over an hour. It's so tasty!
Yep, I've stayed up late for a meteor shower!

Yes. Mackinac. SO beautiful! For some reason, though, it's scarier for me going north than it is when I'm headed south on the bridge. I have no idea why, but it is.

Um, you're not going to believe this, but it is for me too! Hmm, strange. And you know how the highway kind of 'pops you out' directly in front of the bridge? Well, I'd planned on Bill taking my place driving it when we went, but I was basically 'on it' once we exited!! Too late! He video-taped my entire reaction...me, freaking out, venturing onto this huge bridge, and then about 1/3 of the way up, I said, "Oh, this is actually very pretty!" LOL!!
Ok, sorry for babbling...
YES, I have skated on a frozen pond---fun, but I'm pretty bad at it!

I know what you mean. It's cool how you catch glimpses of the bridge here and there through the trees, and then all of a sudden, you're on it!
This video isn't recommended for anyone with a fear of heights. It shows workers on the cables a few hundred feet above the bridge. It's funny how the bridge itself looks like it's setting right in the water, but it's actually, what... about 200 feet above the straits?
Yup, been both downhill and cross-country skiing.
