| I just watched this episode, and it has to be one of my favorites. I can't say whether or not I agreed with Charles when he told Laura she had to wait two years to marry Almanzo, but I was glad at the end when Charles finally told Laura she only had to wait one year! I also thought it was cute at the end when Grace went up to a little boy at Nellie and Percival's wedding and kissed him! I was so surprised that Nellie got married too! The way Nellie acted when she was younger, I didn't think she would ever get married! | |

| This is also one of my favorites, though it bugs me that Almanzo acts like such a stubborn jerk and decides to leave town just because he didn't get his way. He gave no consideration to how Laura felt and that she was torn between the two men she loved most.
I ended up writing a fan fiction story about this episode after Almanzo left Walnut Grove, totally from his point of view. I always thought it was one of my better ones.

| I never thought anyone could feel the way about Nellie that Percival did! atleast Harriet got her wish and the restaurant is what helped Nellie gain a husband, even though it took an entire season! :) | |

| The thought of Dean shivering under all that ice gives me goosebumps (it sure don't take much does it?). Definitely one of my favorite epies too. I love the character of Percival and how he put both Mrs. Oleson and Nellie in their places. The look on Nells face was priceless when Percival yelled at each of them, you could almost see the wheels turning inside wondering how he accomplished that. Something Nells could never do... | |

| Yeah, this is a good one. Teresa, I also like the scene in your avatar -- the classic Nellie Oleson eggs in her hair life-changing moment. | |

| I didn't think Nellie would ever get married! Though I have to admit I was happy for her when she finally did. I didn't think it was fair that Charles told Laura she had to wait until she was 18 to marry Almanzo, especially since Mary was only 16 when she and Adam were married. |

| I have not seen this one either for a long time, but I really like it. I think Almanzo probably struggled with Laura's love for her Pa and her love for him. After all, he was already quite a bit older than Laura and not yet married, so he had waited a lot longer to get married already....and two more years may have seemed like an eternity to him. But in the end I think he would have continued to wait as long as necessary. | |

I wish we could have a "Little House" spin-off to know what happened to Grace, Carrie, Cassandra and James... Vanesa.

| I kind of think laura shold have had to waite to be 18 to marry. I don't know about you but 16/17 seems so young to get married. But i guess that's how different life was back then.Too me in the show laura seemed in a hurry to be grown up. I guess she did rush her schooling so he would think of her has grown up and marry her. But iam glad nellie got married. He changed her and she became nicer. i'am sure he made grace and carrie be 18 to weed. “Tomorrow is a new day with no mistakes in it... Yet.” ― L.M. | I loved this episode....my favorite part is at the very end when after Percival and Nellie get married. They are both on the wagon and Percival yells out "off to the honeymoon" the look on Nellies face is priceless “I am beginning to learn that it is the sweet, simple things of life which are the real ones after all.” ― Laura Ingalls Wilder | |
