The Tales of Desperaux

Has anyone seen this one? It's an animated movie about a mouse named Desperaux. My mom and son and I all went and saw it last week and it was SOOOOO cute!! It was a great story and really great animation. The mouse is SO cute! It's not one of the 'big name' animation/CGI companies, but that's why I LIKED it. Sometimes that CGI stuff is so overdone that you can barely look at the screen. This one is done perfectly. Anyway, those of you who have young children (or even if you don't!), I highly recommend this!

Aren't those cute Rob?! The 'look' of the movie is more like drawings 'come to life'...very 'artsy' and colorful without being 'overly so', if you know what I mean. William H. Macy plays the voice of the Desperaux's father---he's my favorite! All the voices are good though, and Sigourney Weaver narrates and she's great as well! I think this movie deserved way more than the '6' it got on IMDB. :think:

I remember reading that you like him Jon! I do too...he is one awesome actor. We just watched Fargo a few weeks ago too...man was he good in that. You will love him in this role---he is SO funny! Oh, I just watched Seabuscuit a couple weeks ago too, did you see that? He has a 'bit part', but is perfect in it!! Oh, and yes, this would be an amazing movie on Bluray!
